CAS, from third to top

With perseverance and power radiating within them, CAS Women's Volleyball team wasted no time and dragged CNU Medellin down in a Championship match at the Inner Court today.

CAS, who's hailed third from last year's Intramural Games, easily posted a 10-point lead at the beginning of the first set and ended with a score, 25-13.

"Let's go, Warriors!” Medellin chanted as they tried to boost their player's determinedness. CAS, in the spirit of the game, came with a retort through a loud cheer, "Go, Go CAS! PinakamalaCAS!"

The second and third set marked a crucial point. Both teams were aggressive but with the forceful spikes of Wella Jane Ybas, CAS boomed their way to victory, snatched the gold and banged Medellin with a score; 25-23, 25-17.

"Kailangan man jud naay mutingog sa duwa. Since ako man ang senior, kailangan jud ko mangusog para sa team", Ybas said in an interview.
